Smooth 6.45M Treadmill Review |
The Smooth 6.45 treadmill series is an upgrade to its predecessor - the Smooth 6.25. There are two models in the 6.45 series - the 6.45 and the 6.45M. The only difference between the two models is the built-in sound system found in the Smooth 6.45M treadmill. You’ll pay an extra $100 for this added feature. If you hate having headphone wires bouncing around while you workout, then the additional $100 may be worth it. However, most will probably find the extra $100 for built-in speakers unnecessary. The Smooth 6.45M lets users enjoy the same comforts as that of the Smooth 6.45: the spacious 60-inch running surface ideal for even the most avid joggers and runners, patented Swing Arm Shock Absorption technology and a quiet yet powerful 3.0 HP motor. The MSRP on the Smooth 6.45 is $2,497.00 but is regularly on sale for $1599-$1699 and you pay no sales tax unless you are a resident of Pennsylvania or Indiana. As of November 2009, it was replaced by the Smooth 6.75 Treadmill. |

Actual Expert and Customer Feedback:
With the longer deck, bigger motor, standard heart rate strap- are you getting the picture??? -Industry Experts, TreadmillDoctor.com I really love my new 6.45M treadmill but what would really make it perfect is a more suitable book rack. There is a "lip" on the console but it is not adequate enough to even hold a magazine. -Smooth Fitness Customer I am really impressed with this machine that I bought. I love the docking staion. The speakers are decent quality and I love not having my ear buds in my ears while running. -Smooth Fitness Customer This is a great treadmill, very well made. I am very happy with my purchase of the 645m treadmill. -Smooth Fitness Customer Click Here to Read all the Smooth 6.45M Reviews Overview Best For: Walkers, Joggers, Runners (except hardcore runners) Pros: Cons: The Smooth 6.45M is an exciting upgrade of its predecessor, the Smooth 6.25. Its powerful motor, more-than-adequate running surface, range of user programs, and now its built-in sound system make the Smooth 6.45M the ultimate exercise partner. Its 270-lb frame lends the machine more stability but could be pretty heavy to move around. However, as soon as you find the perfect spot for it in your home, you can enjoy daily exercise routines that don't feel different from a health club experience. And with the price tag significantly lowered to just $1599 - $1699, it's definitely worth spending your money on. |
