If President-Elect Obama Has Time for the Treadmill So Do You!

Treadmills have come a long way-no longer are they just sitting in the corner of the room used as a coat rack. Take a look now, even the President-elect Obama makes sure he gets his cardio workouts in each week-even while he was on the campaign trail. The President-elect Obama gets in at least 30 minutes a day. Michelle Obama also gets in a good 90 minute workout 3 times a week.

So if you think you can’t find time in the day to put in a 30 minute treadmill workout you need to think again. If the next president of the United States has time, then you should have no problem finding time in your day.

You can change your cardio routine one-day jump on the treadmill for 30 minutes, then the next day take a 30 minute walk. By changing your cardio routine it can help eliminate getting stuck in a rut. This is the main issue that most people have when trying to stay with a workout plan. They get sick of doing the same thing day after day, and their body also do not get the most out of the same exercise each day. Changing of your exercise routine will increase the amount of calories you burn.

You may not be able to find 90 minutes, 60 minutes or even 30 minutes each day to work out, but you should be able to find 10 to 15 minutes and that can be enough to burn most of the extra calories that you had during the day. So dust off your treadmill, or find your gym membership card and get out and exercise!
