In this final podcast of the treadmill buying guide series, I talk about the extra features and warranties that come with most treadmills. The most common features include workout programs, heart rate monitors, and folding capabilities. Other features you’ll come across include built-ins such as cooling fans, speakers, tvs, and mp3 players. You’ll want to know which features are important to you when making a buying decision.

Warranties are an excellent indicator of the overall quality of the treadmill. The higher quality machines will come with longer warranties. As an example, Sole treadmills and Smooth treadmills both offer lifetime warranties on certain components of their treadmills. Compare that to some treadmills that only have 90 day warranties!
