Hello! My name is Walter Brice (yes, my real name, not some fake internet name) and I want to thank you for stopping by! BestTreadmillsOnline.com launched in February 2008. The inspiration behind the launch of this site was my own desire to find a treadmill that I could purchase online. I spent many hours browsing the Internet searching for information on treadmills I could buy online. After it was all said and done, I narrowed my search to two companies: Smooth and Sole. I was ready to pull the trigger on the Sole F85 but ultimately I ended up buying a $4,000 treadmill for $2,000 through Craigslist! It was a commercial quality treadmill that was barely used. It looked and operated like new. It was too good of a deal to pass up.

You might be asking, why do I have a website about buying treadmills online when I ended up purchasing one locally? That’s a good question! When I was doing all my research, I discovered that if I wanted a new treadmill I would be able to get the best bang for my buck if I bought online. I also knew if I was willing to buy used, I could probably get a great deal if I bought locally so I was searching Craigslist daily too. Unless a great deal showed up locally (which it did), I was always going to buy something new online.

And if I was going to buy something new online, I was going to buy from Smooth or Sole. They are the premiere companies who sell almost exclusively online. Their treadmills are some of the best values you’ll find for home treadmills. As I already mentioned, I had my eye on the Sole F85 and had it not been for that steal of a deal on Craigslist, I would have bought it! The moral of the story is keep your options open. There is more then one way to skin a cat;) If you want the absolute best value for your dollar, either buy new online or buy used locally.

I also discovered during my research that finding one source for information on treadmills sold online was nearly impossible. I had to browse through many different websites to gather all the information I needed to understand what to look for when buying treadmills or to find information and reviews on the different models of treadmills. I knew there had to be a better way so I put this site together to make shopping online for a treadmill easier for you!
